The “Forum of Public Support to Freedom of Speech and Expression” has been organized today by several journalist organizations and media of Azerbaijan. At a press conference Arif Aliyev, chairman of Yeni Nesil journalists organization, said that goal of the forum is to unite the society to solve problems in fields of freedom of speech and expression.

Media Diversity Institute (UK) together with Yeni Nesil Journalists' Union organise a 10-day training for TV journalists. Training will enhance journalists' skills regarding the issues of freedom of expression and defamation and will be between 15 and 24 September in Baku, Azerbaijan.
