Gulnara Akhundova, Project Manager

At AMC: Gulnara joined International Media Support in September 2008 as Business Development Manager at the Azerbaijan Media Center. In this role, Gulnara was responsible for the project and business development, as well as the marketing of the Azerbaijan Media Center. Since December 2009 Gulnara has been heading up the Center. As Center’s Project Manager Gulnara oversees organization’s operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service and cost-effective management of resources.

Before AMC: Following a law degree and qualification as a lawyer, Gulnara entered the marketing industry in 1997. She has worked at managerial positions with a number of international agencies such as International Medical Corps and McCann Group where she managed communication and marketing activities. She is a certified professional in communications and has provided training in all aspects of marketing and communications to government, non-profit organizations and local businesses.

Beyond AMC: Gulnara loves a good debate, chess and Arabica coffee. Avoids being too much of ‘severe and competitive’ Mom with her little daughter.
