Elchin Shikhlinsky is an editor-in chief for Ayna- Zerkalo newspaper. Prior to joining Ayna- Zerkalo newspaper he worked in spheres connected  to the media.

During his career, Shikhlinsky worked as a secretary at the Education Ministry Collegium of Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan, senior advisor with the Azerbaijan Committee of the Soviet Children Fund, Deputy Editor-in-Chief for “Ayna-Zerkalo” newspaper and Chief Editor for Al-Ver newspaper. He was a president of the Ayna media home company.

Since 1986 Shikhlinsky has been a member of Azerbaijan Writers Union .

He holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Languages.
